Congratulations on making the decision to purchase your first home
To make things really really easy, we have created a 3 step process which we will guide you through each step of the way.
Step 1 – “Show me the money”
Firstly you need to find out how much you can spend on your new home. At Clic we have access to loans from all of Australia’s banks and non-bank lenders. You will have a choice of banks to choice from, as well as the type of loan structure that works best for you. And of course, you can pick from the best rate in town. It’s so much easier than going from bank to bank.

An hour of your time is all we need to get you started. Once your loan is selected we will submit a pre-approval for you. This will tell you how much money the bank is prepared to lend you and will include any conditions you need to meet before settlement. There are no strings attached at this stage.
The great news is that a pre-approval is valid for up to 3 months. That leaves you plenty of time to shop around for your new home. And, your first home owners grant is considered by the banks as a deposit and we will lodge it for you on your behalf.
Step 2 – Finding your dream home
Yay! You have found your new home. This is where we really start to get active for you. Your real estate agent will fax us the front page of the property contract. We then get the ball rolling on finalising your loan in time for exchange. We will order the bank valuation and work with you to ensure you meet any extra conditions set down by the lender.
You will then receive formal loan approval. From here you’re home and hosed. The lenders solicitors will prepare your mortgage documents and mail them to you. Right about now you need to organise your building insurance as your policy will be needed for settlement.
Step 3 – Congratulations
This is where the bank pays out the owner of your property and you get the keys to your new home. You will receive a letter in the mail detailing the settlement amounts and your loan repayment information. Your final first home buyer grant documents are lodged at this point and if you are not using them as a deposit, you can expect a cheque in the mail.
That’s how easy it is. Call us today on 02 8815 5500 to get started.
